About me

I started cooking after a huge argument with my mother because I refused to wear an undershirt. I was 8. I’ve been experimenting in the kitchen ever since. And I’d like to believe my skills (&palette) have greatly improved. I struggle with several autoimmune diseases. Like a dagger to my heart, I recently developed a severe allergy to all dairy. I love cheese. And ice cream. Did I mention cheese? I’m learning to enjoy nut butters and such. But they’ll never replace manchego.
I’m also an ardent feminist and social justice warrior. I believe black lives matter, love is love, and science outweighs uneducated opinion.
