About me

As far as I'm concerned, there is no greater joy in life than sharing a thoughtfully prepared meal with family, friends, or even strangers. Food has the potential to inspire conversation, bridge cultural and linguistic gaps, and even create friendships.

Throughout the years I've spent living and traveling abroad, many of my best and most poignant memories involve food. From wandering through open air markets in Sicily to navigating the narrow winding spice souks of Marrakesh, from learning how to prepare typical West African dishes from my neighbors in Cameroon, to sipping on fermented corn beer with toothless old men in Tanzania, drink, food, and the people that I share them with are always a highlight.

Now, as venue manager of Feastly at theLab, I get to continue my culinary adventures without leaving San Fransisco. Working with chefs from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures, and interacting with community diners looking for a meaningful, authentic, and unique experience is such a pleasure.
