Meet The Chef
Alessando is a self-taught chef born in Molfetta, a small city located in South Italy. He describes his cuisnes as a blend of Italian and Mediterranean. For several years Alessandro ran his own restaurant in Italy before deciding to travel to the United States.
Moving to New York four years ago to gain experience & explore different ideas in the world of culinary was the biggest step in his career. Since then, he's worked with all types of italian cuisine in well known restaurants like, Masseria, Gradisca, Uva and many more.
Finally, he found a place that inspired him the most, and is now the Executive Chef for a small family-style restaurant called Al Vicoletto, located in Union Square. Al Vicoletto is open to everyone & anyone who craves real italian home made food!
